Travel Sketch Class with Karen Hewitt Hagan

This workshop is designed for artists, travelers, and creative professionals who want to translate their travel experiences into confident, expressive sketches. All levels are welcome. This session is structured as a working studio environment: part instruction, part experimentation, and part individualized feedback. Karen will demonstrate and speak about how this technique has affected her studio work. She will bring her recent sketchbooks and travel paintings for discussion. Whether you’re new to travel sketching or looking to refine your approach, you’ll leave with exciting, personalized sketches, a clearer process, and renewed confidence in working from reference material.
